Map your progess

This is a step that many people skip – but do yourself a favour, don’t!  There is nothing more rewarding than seeing the evidence of your progress on paper. It doesn’t have to be complicated – marking what you’ve done on your everyday calendar is good enough.

Make sure you put your calendar in an easy-to-see spot as a reminder of your goal and the progress you are making. Logging what you do also helps you become aware of when you are lapsing into your old behavior – you can use this as an opportunity to evaluate what’s working and not working for you, and adjust your plan.
