Staying on track

A British psychologist by the name of Richard Wiseman tracked people who made New Year’s resolutions. He found that after 2 weeks, 90% of people – all those who relied on willpower – had gone back to their old ways.

What’s more important than the 90% who relapsed is the 10% who stayed on track. What were these people doing that was different and allowed them to be successful?

Watch this interview with Dr. Wiseman and see if you can make a list of the strategies that work. You’ll need to listen closely because Dr. Wiseman and the interviewer have thick British accents!
