Tell a friend or a family member what you are trying to do. Better yet, see if you can find someone who has the same goal and wants to join you. People who have a “change buddy” are more likely to be successful than those who try to do it all on their own. Why?

  • You can motivate each other to get up and out – even when it’s 40 below.
  • You can swap tips and share information.
  • You can congratulate each other as you make progress towards your goal.
  • You can hold each other accountable.
  • It will be a lot more fun!

Make sure you pick the “right” person – it won’t help if you pick someone who will let you “off the hook”.

Add one more person and you have a group. That’s how many movements begin.
