Want to increase your positivity?  Be open, grateful, curious, kind and most importantly real. This allows us to see the good all around us – in nature, in others, in ourselves. Notice the similarities with the Five ways to well-being.

Some people find it helpful to keep track of their positive emotions to discover and do more of what makes them feel alive. Keep a daily record of the deeply felt positive experiences of the day and ask yourself questions like,

  • What triggered the emotional experience?
  • Where were you?
  • What was happening at the time?
  • What were you doing?

This kind of diary can help you discover, or re-discover, what makes you feel really alive and bring out the best in you. Once you know what really makes you thrive, do more of it!
